Korean national hang from every tree branch in Hyochang Park in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, this week, to mark the March 1 Independence Movement Day.
“Taegukgi Street” stretches about 510 meters from Hyochang Park Station on Seoul Subway Line 6 to the park’s main entrance.
Hyochang Park is the resting place of independence activists including Kim Gu, Yun Bong-gil and Lee Bong-chang. It also contains the symbolic grave of independence fighter Ahn Jung-geun, whose remains have not been recovered.
